Loman Street Studios invited three designers to contribute a type based project for their new building. Marriott's proposal was to take the existing house font (Unica, designed by Andre Gurtler in 1980) and substitute the o's for Gerald Holtom's peace symbol from 1958. This usually hand drawn or hippy symbol combined with the crisp modernism of Unica was a means of infecting the studios corporate communications with a viral message.
