An installation designed for the St Paul Street Gallery , Auckland, New Zealand, with Alex Rich. Consisting of four elements; a 6 metre Radiata Pine trunk, cut through & through, 150 stacked reams of A4 paper, 30 second film loop of band-saw blade sharpening machine, and 150 mm of wood chip 'carpet'. Part of a three week residency and investigation into the nature of New Zealand, it's geography & vegetation, together with it's relationship to the logging, timber & paper industries.
