In 2002 I was invited to make an exhibition for the Geffrye Museum in East London. The installation  reflected the concerns of the main museum displays of historic London Interiors, but used this format to discuss a series of issues related to the practice of design today. The title was inspired by the above photograph of Groucho Marx sitting on a chair designed by Mies Van der Rohe, combining the otherwise opposite worlds of Hollywood and the Bauhaus.
